Absorbine Magic Cushion Hoof Heat Packing is a veterinarian-formulated packing designed to reduce hoof heat and soothe soreness in the sole and frog after stress or overheating. The label reports it begins reducing hoof heat within about an hour and that a single application can provide cooling, soothing relief for up to 24 hours.

Follow the label directions exactly: clean the hoof first, wear disposable gloves while packing, fill over the sole and frog to about a half-inch depth, and secure as instructed. Store and use carefully—product is combustible and intended for external use on animals only.
