Targeted protection against bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) Types 1, 1b and 2 for healthy beef and dairy cattle. Bovi-Shield Gold BVD is a modified-live vaccine supplied freeze-dried and rehydrated with the included sterile diluent, given as a 2 mL dose to reduce viremia and help lower respiratory disease risk in the herd when used per label directions.

  • Broad BVD coverage: Active against BVD Types 1, 1b and 2.
  • Durable immune response: Builds immunity documented to last at least nine months when administered according to the label.
  • Practical handling and dosing: Supplied freeze-dried with sterile diluent; 2 mL dose administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly (subcutaneous in the neck is noted as the preferred site).
  • Use considerations on label: Efficacy applies to healthy cattle only; maternal antibodies can limit response in young calves, boosters are often required, and the product contains gentamicin with pregnancy and sensitivity considerations.
