Bovi-Shield Gold IBR BVD Cattle Vaccine is a modified-live vaccine formulated to protect beef and dairy cattle against respiratory disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) and bovine viral diarrhea (BVD), helping support herd immunity for at least nine months when used according to the product label.

  • Freeze-dried vial with diluent: reconstitute immediately before use and administer the full contents once opened.
  • Dosage and route: give 2 mL per animal subcutaneously or intramuscularly in the neck region, as specified on the label.
  • Storage and handling: keep refrigerated at 2°C–8°C and do not freeze; shipments require express handling and are sent Monday–Wednesday to continental US addresses only.
  • Safety notes: product contains gentamicin; observe animals after dosing for rare allergic reactions. Maternal antibodies can interfere with the immune response and primary protocols may require boosters for young animals.
