Durvet Ivermectin Injection 1% for Cattles and Swines

Durvet Ivermectin Injection 1% is a sterile, ready-to-use parasiticide labeled for cattle and swine to treat and control internal and external parasites. The active ingredient is ivermectin 1% (10 mg/mL) and the product is intended for subcutaneous use with weight-based dosing to address gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, sucking lice, mange mites and cattle grubs.

• Clear, labeled dosing: cattle 1 mL per 110 lb (50 kg), do not exceed 10 mL per injection site; split larger cattle doses between sites as directed.
• Swine dosing specified: 1 mL per 75 lb (33 kg), administered subcutaneously in the neck immediately behind the ear.
• Route & precautions: subcutaneous use only—do not give intravenously or intramuscularly; use sterile equipment and appropriate restraint.
• Storage and handling: protect from light, store at 59°F–86°F, use within 60 days of first puncture; multi-dose bottles permit up to 25 punctures per labeled sizes.
• Meat withdrawal: labeled withdrawal times are 35 days for cattle and 18 days for swine; monitor injection sites for transient swelling or discomfort.
