Noromectin Injection 1% for Cattle and Swine

Noromectin Injection 1% is a sterile, ready-to-use ivermectin solution (10 mg/mL) formulated for low-volume subcutaneous treatment of key internal and external parasites in cattle and swine. It treats gastrointestinal roundworms and lungworms, and controls lice and mange mites; it can also control cattle grubs when used with proper timing.

• Concentrated, injectable formulation: Ivermectin 1.0% (10 mg/mL) for subcutaneous administration in cattle and swine, enabling low-volume dosing.
• Cattle dosing: 1 mL per 110 lb (50 kg) body weight; do not exceed 10 mL per injection site—split larger doses among sites.
• Swine dosing & administration site: 1 mL per 75 lb (33 kg) body weight; administer subcutaneously in the neck immediately behind the ear.
• Administration technique: For cattle, inject under loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder. Use sterile technique: disinfect injection sites and use clean needles.
• Safety & withdrawal: Not for use in female dairy cattle of breeding age. Do not treat cattle within 35 days of slaughter or swine within 18 days of slaughter.

Follow labelled site and timing limits to reduce injection-site reactions. Temporary discomfort, occasional soft-tissue swelling in cattle, or mild transient pain in some swine have been reported with subcutaneous injections.
