Safe-Guard (fenbendazole 10%) Paste is an oral dewormer supplied as a measured 290 g paste for direct administration to beef and dairy cattle. It is formulated to remove and control lungworms, stomach worms, and intestinal worms, and provides a measured-dose option when you need a single, weight-based treatment.
- Active ingredient and indication: Contains 10% fenbendazole (100 mg/g) indicated for lung, stomach, and intestinal parasites.
- Weight-based dosing: Labeled dose is 2.3 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) as a single oral treatment; dosing guide equals 11.5 g of paste per 500 lb (227 kg).
- Measured delivery: Supplied as a paste intended for delivery by syringe or appropriate applicator so each animal receives a measured dose.
- Food-safety limits: Not for use in beef calves under 2 months of age, dairy calves, or veal calves. Do not slaughter treated cattle for human consumption within 8 days; discard milk during treatment and for 96 hours after the last dose.
Use this product according to the labeled administration and withdrawal instructions so treatments align with herd-management and food-safety needs.
