Vedco Micro BP Benzoyl Peroxide Shampoo is a follicular-flushing shampoo formulated for dogs, cats, and horses that delivers 3% benzoyl peroxide to the hair coat and skin. Encapsulated benzoyl peroxide and micro-sized particles aim to place the active ingredient at the follicle and release it slowly so more remains on the skin after rinsing, supporting extended follicular exposure following application.

  • Encapsulated, slow-release action: Encapsulation technology provides continued delivery of benzoyl peroxide after rinsing for ongoing follicular exposure.
  • Targeted follicular delivery: Micro-sized particles help move active ingredient toward hair follicles for cleansing of the coat and skin.
  • Use and contact time: Shake, create a rich lather, allow 5–10 minutes contact time, then rinse; initial schedule two to three times weekly for 30 days, then once weekly.
  • Includes supporting ingredients: Contains cleansing agents, conditioning ingredients, microspheres, polymers, hyaluronic acid, preservatives, and fragrance alongside 3% benzoyl peroxide.

This formulation is intended to combine cleansing and sustained skin exposure to support follicular flushing when used according to the stated contact times and schedule.
