Farnam Wound-Kote Blue Lotion Spray is a fast-drying, water-resistant antiseptic dressing for surface wounds, cuts, abrasions, harness galls and saddle sores on horses, cattle, and dogs. The aerosol delivers a light mist that penetrates skin crevices and helps protect the wound surface while supporting topical control of microbes.
- Broad-spectrum antiseptic action: contains p-chloro-m-xylenol (0.45%) and benzalkonium chloride (0.13%).
- Fast-drying, water-resistant formula: designed to remain in place through activity and light moisture so the dressing stays put after application.
- Convenient aerosol application: light mist sprays from 2–4 inches to cover lesions and reach crevices without heavy wetting.
- Simple daily use: label directions advise shaking well, applying once daily or as instructed, and allowing spray to dry before bandaging.
For safe handling, avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes, use externally on animals only, and note the product is extremely flammable. Follow the product label for all specific application and safety instructions.
