Dakin's Wound Cleanser is a highly effective, non-irritating antiseptic solution used for the treatment of infected wounds, ulcers, and surgical sites. This Pro Strength (Full Strength) formula is specifically designed to kill a broad spectrum of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, including tough strains like MRSA and VRE. Unlike some harsh antiseptics, Dakin's is buffered to be gentle on healthy tissue while effectively breaking down dead tissue (debridement) and controlling wound odor. It is a staple in hospitals and wound care centers for managing stage I-IV pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, and post-operative care.
