Dulcolax Stool Softener & Stimulant Laxative combines a stool-softening agent and a stimulant in a single 100-tablet bottle to relieve occasional constipation and irregularity. Each coated tablet contains 50 mg Docusate Sodium and 8.6 mg Sennosides; the formula is intended to produce a bowel movement typically within 6 to 12 hours when taken as directed.

  • Dual-action formulation: Docusate Sodium softens stool while Sennosides stimulate a bowel movement.
  • Count and form: 100 small, coated tablets in a bottle with a tamper-evident safety seal under the cap.
  • Age-based dosing on the label: Adults and children 12 years and over—2 to 4 tablets daily; children 6 to under 12 years—1 to 2 tablets daily.
  • Use guidance from the label: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support the stool-softening process.

This product is intended for occasional, generally overnight relief from constipation when used according to the labeled dosing and hydration guidance.
